The Concept 

To give you an idea, I represent a hybrid between a sushiya 寿司屋 and a izakaya 居酒屋, not forgetting much tachinomiya立ち飲み屋.

The strength of my menu is Sushi, but don’t expect me to be a traditional restaurant, because what I love is the izakaya ‘Tapa Formula’ as well as having a quick bite at the bar, on foot, as happens in a tachinomiya. Not to mention the Sake (sakaya = Sake shop) / nomi = to drink), just like in the establishments which inspire me.

Another of my inspirations? Great quality and a selection of the finest products on a simple menu, using the most popular rice amongst the chefs of my home country of Japan in Europe, YumeNishiki, and the freshest fish as our base.

Friday 4th May Opening Menu
Saturday 5th May: Closing of 5th Japanese Week at Sushiya. Sushi Workshop(11am-1.30pm) and Special Japanese Menu 15€- Reservations only   
Closed until Wednesday 9th May
